Sat Nov 29 23:30:00 UTC 2025: Inter Miami to Host NYCFC in Eastern Conference Final, Messi Eyes Another Record

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – Inter Miami CF is set to host New York City FC this Saturday, November 29th, at 6 p.m. ET at Chase Stadium in the Eastern Conference Final of the Audi 2025 MLS Cup Playoffs. Presented by Heineken, the match marks Inter Miami’s first-ever appearance in the Conference Final and offers a chance to secure a spot in the MLS Cup for the first time in club history.

The team is coming off a dominant 4-0 victory over FC Cincinnati in the Eastern Conference Semifinals, fueled by a standout performance from captain Lionel Messi, who notched a goal and three assists. These assists pushed Messi to 404 career assists, tying him with Ferenc Puskás for the most in history. Messi also broke the record for most goal contributions (goals + assists) in a single MLS postseason with 12 in 4 games.

Fans attending the match at Chase Stadium will receive one of 21,500 rally towels to be placed on the seats as part of the Heineken presentation. Pre-game festivities will also include numerous activations in the Baptist Health Fan Zone.

Tickets are selling fast for the historic match, and fans are encouraged to secure their seats while supplies last. Advance parking passes are also recommended. For convenient transportation, Inter Miami has partnered with Brightline to provide “GOOOL GETTER” trains and complimentary shuttles from Brightline Fort Lauderdale Station to Chase Stadium.

For fans unable to attend in person, the game will stream live on the Apple TV app in both English and Spanish. ESPN 106.3 will provide comprehensive English-language radio coverage, while Deportes Radio 760AM will offer a Spanish-language broadcast.

Inter Miami is in the midst of its fourth appearance in the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs, after featuring in the postseason in 2020, 2022, and 2024. If Inter Miami wins, the MLS Cup will be held on December 6th at Chase Stadium due to the team’s Supporters’ Shield standing.

While Inter Miami holds a 2-7-4 record against NYCFC in past matchups, they secured a resounding 4-0 victory over the New York side in September, securing their playoff berth. NYCFC finished the regular season fifth in the Eastern Conference. They reached the Eastern Conference Final by defeating Charlotte FC and the Philadelphia Union.
