Ravi, 50, who operated a tiffin shop in Guindy, was riding his two-wheeler with his 15-year-old son, Karthik, as a passenger. They were heading towards Saidapet market to purchase vegetables when an unidentified vehicle struck their two-wheeler on the flyover.
According to the City Traffic Police, both Ravi and Karthik were thrown from the vehicle upon impact and died at the scene.
