Sun Nov 30 14:40:00 UTC 2025: Backstreet Boy Brian Littrell Sues Senior Citizen Over Beach Trespassing
SANTA ROSA BEACH, FL – Backstreet Boys singer Brian Littrell is embroiled in a legal battle, this time suing a 67-year-old woman, Carolyn Barrington Hill, for allegedly trespassing on his private beach. Littrell, who owns a beachfront mansion in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, claims Hill repeatedly entered his property between late April and mid-September.
Littrell, 50, and his wife, Leighanne, 56, allege that Hill’s actions were intended to “antagonize, bully and harass” them, despite what they say are clearly marked boundaries indicating private property. The lawsuit comes just months after Littrell sued the Walton County Sheriff’s Office, claiming inadequate enforcement of trespassing laws on his property.
The dispute has escalated beyond individual confrontations. Littrell’s property manager has been accused of confronting people, and there have been reports of feeling threatened by the property manager when he approached them carrying a drill.
Littrell’s LLC, BLB Beach Hut, purchased the property in 2023 and has struggled with persistent trespassing issues since. According to his lawsuit against the Sheriff’s Office, Littrell has placed “no trespassing” signs and beach furniture on his property, but trespassers continue to disregard them.
The legal troubles follow a viral TikTok video from earlier this year showing Littrell watching as his wife argued with a beachgoer. The singer also alleges that a local officer caught on bodycam said he “doesn’t agree with private beaches,” and that Littrell’s behavior was “lunacy.”
