Khost, Afghanistan – A Pakistani airstrike on a civilian home in Khost province, Afghanistan, has killed nine children and one woman, according to a spokesman for the Taliban administration. Zabihullah Mujahid stated the attack occurred at midnight in the Gorbuz district, targeting the home of Waliat Khan, son of Qazi Mir.
“The Pakistani invading forces bombed the house of a local civilian resident,” Mujahid posted on X, adding that the airstrike resulted in the deaths of five boys, four girls, and one woman, as well as the complete destruction of the house.
Mujahid also reported additional airstrikes in Kunar and Paktika provinces, claiming these attacks wounded at least four civilians. The alleged attacks mark a potential escalation in tensions between the two countries.
