The Miss Universe Jamaica Organization confirmed the incident, stating that Henry was rushed to Paolo Rangsit Hospital and is not suffering from any life-threatening injuries. Medical professionals are conducting further tests to ensure her full recovery.

The preliminary competition included swimsuit and national costume rounds. During the national costume competition, Miss Great Britain Danielle Latimer also experienced a fall but was light-hearted about the incident.
