Guwahati, November 22 – The second Test match between India and South Africa has commenced at the Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati. South Africa won the toss and elected to bat first. At the time of reporting, South Africa is currently batting, with 5 wickets down. Senuran Muthusamy and Tony de Zorzi are the current batsmen at the crease.

South Africa’s innings started positively, with openers Aiden Markram and Ryan Rickelton forging a half-century partnership. Jasprit Bumrah broke the partnership, dismissing Markram (38) with a clean bowl. Soon after the tea break, Kuldeep Yadav removed Rickelton (35). Temba Bavuma and Tristan Stubbs then built an 84-run partnership for the third wicket. Bavuma fell for 41, caught off Ravindra Jadeja’s bowling. Stubbs was then dismissed for 49 by Kuldeep Yadav.
