Faridabad, November 21, 2025 – As multiple agencies investigate the recent Delhi car bombing and a widespread white-collar terror cell, Faridabad Police have established a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to examine activities at Al Falah University. The investigation follows the arrest of several university doctors connected to the high-profile terror case.
Police have also detained a cab driver, a cleric, and an Urdu teacher for questioning. The SIT, comprised of senior police officials, will compile a comprehensive report on the university’s operations, focusing on how it may have become a breeding ground for terrorism.
Commissioner of Police Satender Kumar Gupta has directed the SIT to focus on funding sources for the terror module and the trail of explosives. The role of residents in nearby villages is also under investigation.
The investigation intensified after Director General of Police O. P. Singh’s visit to Al Falah University. One focus of the investigation is how terrorists were able to use the university as a base without detection for a significant amount of time.
The detained cab driver, from Dhauj village, is connected to Dr. Muzammil Ganaie, an arrested Al Falah University doctor and a key suspect. Police discovered devices at the driver’s residence that Dr. Ganaie had allegedly entrusted to him. Furthermore, it is alleged that Dr. Ganaie used the cab driver to provide SIM cards to students and associates.
The cleric and Urdu teacher, both residents of Ghasera village, were apprehended in connection to Dr. Umar Nabi, the suicide bomber behind the November 10 Delhi bombing. Dr. Nabi is reported to have frequented a mosque in Raipur village near Sohna, and police are investigating potential meetings or conversations involving Dr. Nabi at the mosque.
Parents of Al Falah University students are planning a protest outside the university, with growing concerns and questions surrounding the school’s activities and security.
