BOSTON – Are you stumped by today’s Connections: Sports Edition puzzle? The Athletic is offering a helping hand with its new feature, “Connections: Sports Edition Coach,” a platform for puzzle enthusiasts to share clues, strategies, and celebrate their scores.

Today’s puzzle, rated a 4 out of 5 in difficulty, has players scratching their heads. To assist, The Athletic is providing a single answer from each category: MAGIC (Yellow), CARPET (Green), NORRIS (Blue), and ORLANDO (Purple).

Users are encouraged to solve the puzzle before reading further and to share their results in the comments section.

The latest iteration of the puzzle, game No. 423, is available now. A new puzzle will be released at midnight in your time zone.

“Connections: Sports Edition” challenges players to find the hidden links between sports-related terms, testing their knowledge and pattern recognition skills.

“We hope this feature helps players enjoy the challenge of ‘Connections’ while fostering a community around sports and puzzles,” said Mark Cooper, Managing Editor on the college sports team at The Athletic, who before joining The Athletic, worked as a features writer for theScore and as a staff writer for the Tulsa World.
