UAS Dharwad Hosts 34th Intercollegiate Youth Festival

HUBBALLI – November 21, 2025 – The University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS), Dharwad, kicked off its 34th Intercollegiate Youth Festival today at the Farmers’ Knowledge Centre on its campus. Running from November 21st to 24th, the festival aims to foster creativity, language skills, and leadership abilities among students.

The event was inaugurated by Seek Foundation Chairperson K. Purushottam Rao, with University Vice-Chancellor Prof. P.L. Patil presiding. Students from UAS Dharwad’s constituent colleges will compete in 20 diverse events encompassing music, arts, and theatre.

“This festival is designed to enhance the knowledge of students about fine arts,” stated Prof. Shripad Kulkarni, Dean of UAS, Dharwad.

The valedictory ceremony is scheduled for 3 p.m. on November 24th and is expected to be attended by Chandrashekhar Shivacharya Swami of Hiremath, Hukkeri.
