Wed Nov 19 22:20:00 UTC 2025: ## “Real Housewives” Star Mia Fields-Thornton Arrested in Atlanta for Alleged Theft
Atlanta, GA – November 19, 2025: Former “Real Housewives of the Potomac” star Mia Fields-Thornton is in custody in Atlanta following her arrest at Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport. According to Fulton County Jail records, Fields-Thornton faces a felony charge of theft by taking.
Atlanta Police Department officers responded to a call at the airport’s Customs and Border Protection office after receiving reports of a wanted individual. That individual was identified as Fields-Thornton.
Police reports obtained by CBS News Atlanta allege that Fields-Thornton stole furniture, including a television, valued at approximately $11,000 from a condo she was renting on Marietta Street. The condo’s management company claims Fields-Thornton and a man identified as Jared McGriff abruptly vacated the unit in the middle of the night on October 28th, removing the furnishings.
Body camera footage shows Fields-Thornton acknowledging to police that she was aware of the outstanding warrant for her arrest.
Fields-Thornton joined the popular Bravo series during its sixth season and announced her move to Atlanta and departure from the show in April of this year. The investigation is ongoing.
