NASHVILLE, TN (November 20, 2025) – The 59th annual Country Music Association Awards took place last night at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, honoring the biggest names in country music. Hosted by Lainey Wilson, who also earned multiple nominations, the night celebrated both established stars and rising talent.
Legendary Vince Gill received the prestigious Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award, joining a list of country music icons.
While the Entertainer of the Year award remained a closely watched race between Lainey Wilson, Luke Combs, Cody Johnson, Chris Stapleton, and Morgan Wallen, several other artists walked away with coveted trophies.
Zach Top and Ella Langley proved to be among the big winners of the evening, indicating a shift to some newer artists being awarded, with Ella Langley & Riley Green winning Musical Event Of The Year and Zach Top winning New Artist Of The Year.
Adding to the night’s excitement, Ella Langley, Megan Moroney, and Luke Combs delivered memorable performances, captivating the audience with their talent.
Lainey Wilson also made history as the first solo female host since Reba McEntire in 1991. Wilson, who co-hosted the previous year, embraced the role with humor, promising to “poke fun” and keep the atmosphere light.
