TIRUCHI, India – November 20, 2025 – Students from Bharathidasan Institute of Management (BIM) in Tiruchi, India, have swept the ‘Capsim Challenge’, securing first place in both the Foundation (Core) and Advanced (Capstone 2.0) levels of the global business simulation competition for Fall 2025. The biannual challenge, organized by U.S.-based Capsim Management Solutions, pits business students from around the world against each other in a simulated business environment.

This victory marks a significant milestone for BIM, as it has now won both categories consecutively in the Spring and Fall 2025 Challenges, a feat rarely achieved in the competition’s 20-year history.

The winning Advanced-level team included final-year MBA students T.R. Prasana Subramaniam, P. Yutesh, and R. Muthu Kumaran. First-year MBA students S. Vaithiyanathan, N. Shrie Sannith, and Khailaash Lakshminarasimhan claimed the top spot in the Core category, marking BIM’s third consecutive global win in the Core simulation.

The competition saw participation from students hailing from India, Canada, Israel, Thailand, and the U.S., with other prominent Indian business schools like SPJIMR Mumbai, IIM Bangalore, and Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies also competing in the finals.

“We are immensely proud of our students,” said BIM Director Asit K. Barma. “Their dedication and strategic thinking have brought immense honor to the institute.”
