Owaisi Condemns Pro-Suicide Bombing Video, Questions Delhi Blast Security

Hyderabad, November 19, 2025 – All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) President Asaduddin Owaisi today strongly condemned a video circulating online that attempts to justify suicide bombing as martyrdom. Speaking from the party headquarters in Hyderabad, Owaisi described the video as “deeply disturbing” and a clear example of terrorism, emphasizing that Islam unequivocally prohibits the taking of a life.

Owaisi also took aim at Union Home Minister Amit Shah, questioning the security measures in place that allowed a recent blast in Delhi to occur, resulting in 14 deaths. This is despite the fact that Mr Shah said that for the past six months no terrorist group from Kashmir was active. He demanded accountability from the Union government, highlighting the security breach in the nation’s capital and the presence of ammonium nitrate that had been sealed in Srinagar prior to the incident. “Delhi is the country’s capital. Security is with the Union government. They must answer this,” he stated.

The AIMIM President also addressed the tragic road accident near Medina, Saudi Arabia, that claimed the lives of 45 Umrah pilgrims. He confirmed that the Indian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Sohail Ejaz Khan, is currently in Medina coordinating assistance to the victims’ families, along with Minister Azharuddin and MLA Majid Hussain. Owaisi assured that the Prime Minister’s Office, the Foreign Secretary, and other officials are in contact with relevant authorities.
