VIJAYAWADA, India – November 18, 2025 – The Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT), India’s leading telecom research and development organization, has joined forces with the Government of Andhra Pradesh to bolster the nation’s quantum technology capabilities. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed at the 30th CII Partnership Summit in Visakhapatnam, formalizing C-DOT’s participation in the ambitious Amaravati Quantum Valley (AQV) initiative.

Under the agreement, C-DOT will establish a Centre of Excellence (CoE) dedicated to Quantum Communication and Security Solutions within the AQV. The CoE’s mission encompasses research, development, and deployment of secure quantum systems, aligning with the National Quantum Mission (NQM). It will also focus on Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PETs) to strengthen digital privacy.
