No. 1 Nebraska Volleyball Breaks UCLA Attendance Record in Victory

LOS ANGELES, CA – The top-ranked Nebraska Cornhuskers (25-0, 15-0 Big Ten) defeated the UCLA Bruins (14-11, 8-7 Big Ten) in a hard-fought 3-1 match (25-17, 25-23, 19-25, 25-15) Friday night. The game drew a record-breaking crowd of 10,498 to Pauley Pavilion, marking the highest attendance ever for a UCLA women’s volleyball match.

Despite the loss of their impressive 48-set winning streak in the third set, the Huskers rebounded with a dominant performance in the fourth to secure the victory.

Andi Jackson led the Nebraska attack with a season-high 15 kills and a stellar .625 hitting percentage. Harper Murray contributed 14 kills, while Rebekah Allick added 13 kills and seven blocks. Bergen Reilly recorded a double-double with 34 assists and 11 digs, guiding the Huskers to a .299 hitting percentage.

UCLA, despite out-killing the Huskers 55-53, struggled with attacking errors, committing 25 to Nebraska’s 12.

Nebraska continues their California road trip to face No. 17 USC on Sunday at 2 p.m. CT.
