LOS ANGELES, CA – The No. 1 Nebraska Cornhuskers volleyball team (25-0) will face a tough test on the road today against the No. 17 USC Trojans (20-5) in a highly anticipated match at the Galen Center. The game is scheduled for 2 p.m. CT and will be streamed live on B1G+ (subscription required).

The Huskers are coming off a 3-1 victory against UCLA on Friday, where they dropped their first set in 48, snapping a remarkable winning streak. Nebraska boasts the nation’s top-ranked offense with a .348 hitting percentage and a stingy defense, holding opponents to a mere .122 hitting percentage.

Junior Harper Murray spearheads the Nebraska attack with 3.57 kills per set, along with 2.28 digs and a team-leading 25 aces. Setter Bergen Reilly orchestrates the offense, averaging 10.26 assists and 2.60 digs per set. Middle blocker Andi Jackson provides additional firepower with 2.66 kills per set on .449 hitting and 1.14 blocks per set.

USC, led by London Wiljay (3.47 kills per set), holds a 7-3 all-time record against Nebraska. However, the Huskers have won the last two encounters.

The match is generating significant buzz, with the Galen Center sold out at 10,258 seats, breaking USC’s all-time attendance record of 7,303 for a volleyball game.
