TEMPE, Ariz. – FOX Corporation presented the prestigious Pat Tillman Veterans Center Scholarship to two deserving U.S. Army veterans, Jay Anthony and Jamal Walker, during Arizona State University’s homecoming game on Saturday. The $10,000 scholarships, awarded to each student, will support their studies at ASU’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication.
Jay Anthony, a veteran and Master of Science candidate in Digital Audience Strategy, expressed his gratitude, saying, “I’m at a loss for words… it’s a great honor. I’m super grateful.” Anthony is also the co-founder of JTNC Group, LLC, a fintech and digital strategy company.
Jamal Walker, a junior pursuing a degree in sports journalism, served four years as a Public Affairs Specialist in the Army. He hopes to cover the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.
