Tragedy at Mallimadugu Irrigation Project: Two Drown While Swimming

According to local police reports, three youths identified as Sekhar, Siva, and Naresh, all residents of Thathayagunta in Tirupati, visited the project for recreational swimming. An unfortunate event occurred when Siva began to struggle in the water. In a heroic but ultimately tragic attempt to rescue him, Naresh entered the water but also succumbed to the depths.
Sekhar, the third member of the group, immediately raised the alarm, alerting nearby locals who rushed to the scene in an attempt to save the drowning pair. Despite their efforts, the rescue attempts proved unsuccessful.
