Sun Nov 16 12:40:00 UTC 2025: ## Vikings and Bears Set to Clash in NFC North Showdown

MINNEAPOLIS – The Minnesota Vikings (4-5) are preparing to host the Chicago Bears (6-3) this Sunday at U.S. Bank Stadium for a crucial Week 11 NFC North battle. Kickoff is scheduled for 12 p.m. CST and will be broadcast locally on FOX and available for streaming on NFL+.

This game is a rematch of their Week 1 contest, where the Vikings edged out the Bears 27-24 in rookie quarterback J.J. McCarthy’s NFL debut. McCarthy threw for two fourth-quarter touchdowns and rushed for another, marking an impressive start to his career. However, McCarthy has since faced challenges, including a sprained ankle that sidelined him for five games, impacting the Vikings’ consistency.

Minnesota is coming off a disappointing 27-19 loss to the Baltimore Ravens, plagued by penalties. Star wide receiver Justin Jefferson expressed his desire to return to peak performance, emphasizing a need to recapture his dominant mindset. “Just trying to work back into that, the feeling of being out there on Sundays and going out there and just killing it, whoever’s in front of me,” said Jefferson.

Meanwhile, the Bears have turned their season around since their Week 1 defeat, winning six of their last eight games, including a 24-20 victory over the New York Giants last week. Head coach Ben Johnson believes the team has made significant strides. “We’re a different team than we were Week 1, and so is Minnesota,” Johnson stated, highlighting improvements in their running game and quarterback Caleb Williams’ understanding of the offense.

Chicago will face challenges with key players sidelined due to injury. Cornerbacks Jaylon Johnson and Kyler Gordon are on injured reserve, and linebacker T.J. Edwards and safety Jaquan Brisker missed practice earlier this week.

Despite the injuries, the Bears are looking to avenge their earlier loss. The Vikings hold a 69-58-2 all-time record against Chicago and have won eight of their last ten meetings. According to CBS Sports, the Vikings are currently favored by 2.5 points.
