Sat Nov 15 14:40:00 UTC 2025: Tata Sierra Makes a Grand Return in 2025: Prices to be Announced Soon
Mumbai, November 15, 2025 – The iconic Tata Sierra is back! Tata Motors has unveiled the reimagined 2025 Sierra, a modern SUV that pays homage to its classic 1991 predecessor while boasting a fresh design, updated interior, and a host of new features.
The Sierra’s design is boxy and upright, similar to its original design. The top-end model features 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, while lower variants may come with smaller tyres. The new Sierra retains the spirit of the original’s ‘Alpine Window’ with a large rear window, quarter glass, and a black roof.
Inside, the Sierra features a modern dashboard with three large screens taking centre stage. Silver accents, gloss black panels, and beige-white two-tone upholstery add to the upmarket feel. Shared elements with existing Tata models help keep costs low. The cabin offers premium features, including a digital driver’s display, a large touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a co-driver display, dual-zone climate control, and a panoramic sunroof. Safety features include six airbags, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Control, Hill Assist, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, and Level 2 ADAS.
The 2025 Sierra is expected to be powered by a new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 170PS and 280Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed manual or 7-speed DCT. A 1.5-litre diesel engine option producing 118PS and 260Nm of torque will also be available.
Tata Motors has confirmed that prices for the Sierra will be announced on November 25, 2025. Initial estimates suggest prices could range from Rs 11 lakh to Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom). With its distinctive design and feature-rich experience, the Tata Sierra is set to compete with established players like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Maruti Grand Vitara in the competitive SUV market.
