Sat Nov 15 15:41:17 UTC 2025: Andhra Pradesh Secures Massive ₹13.26 Trillion Investment at CII Summit
Visakhapatnam, India – November 15, 2025 – The Andhra Pradesh government has secured a staggering ₹13,25,617 crore (approximately $160 billion USD) in investments through 613 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) signed at the CII Partnership Summit 2025, which concluded today in Visakhapatnam.
The energy sector led the way, attracting ₹5,33,351 crore in investment, followed by industries, infrastructure, IT, electronics & communications, and AP Capital Region Development Authority. Agreements include a partnership with the World Economic Forum to establish a Centre for Energy and Cyber Resilience in Andhra Pradesh, a deal with the Airports Authority of India for a new greenfield airport in Srikakulam, and a collaboration with Goa Shipyard Ltd. for a warship building and defense manufacturing unit in Machilipatnam.
Notable investments include ₹1,980 crore for the Amaravati Quantum Valley and the establishment of 12 companies at Sri City. Raymond Ltd. will also be setting up an auto component manufacturing unit near the KIA car plant and two more factories in the Rayalaseema region, with a total investment of ₹1,201 crore.
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu emphasized that the investments were strategically distributed across the Visakhapatnam, Amaravati, and Tirupati regions. He also assured that officials are dedicated to monitoring the progress of these MoUs to ensure they materialize within the next three years. The government also held talks with various multinational and Indian companies for further investment in the state.
