CMA Awards Announce Star-Studded Lineup of Performers
Nashville, TN – November 14, 2024 – The Country Music Association (CMA) and ABC have revealed a new wave of performers set to ignite the stage at the 59th Annual CMA Awards, airing live on Wednesday, November 19th, on ABC from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville and streaming the next day on Hulu.
Joining previously announced performers like BigXthaPlug, Luke Combs, Ella Langley, Megan Moroney, Shaboozey, Zach Top, Tucker Wetmore, Lainey Wilson, and Stephen Wilson Jr., are country music powerhouses Kelsea Ballerini, Kenny Chesney, Miranda Lambert, Brandi Carlile, Riley Green, Patty Loveless, Old Dominion, The Red Clay Strays, and Chris Stapleton.
Kelsea Ballerini will debut her new song “I Sit in Parks,” while Kenny Chesney’s performance will coincide with his induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame. Riley Green is slated to perform “Worst Way,” and Old Dominion will deliver a medley of their hits. The Red Clay Strays will perform “People Hatin’,” and Chris Stapleton is set to sing “F1: The Movie” single, “Bad as I Used to Be.” Lambert and Stapleton will also join forces for a duet performance of “A Song to Sing.”
The ceremony will also honor Vince Gill with the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award, featuring a special tribute performance.
Lainey Wilson returns as host for the second year, after sharing the role with Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning in 2024. “I grew up watching the CMA Awards like it was the Super Bowl, so to be hosting for a second year is a true honor,” said Wilson.
Ella Langley and Megan Moroney lead this year’s nominations with six nods each, followed by Zach Top with five, and Riley Green and Cody Johnson with four.
