Shah’s Prediction Confirmed: NDA Secures Landslide Victory in Bihar Election

Patna – The National Democratic Alliance (NDA), led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has achieved a resounding victory in the Bihar election, securing a landslide win over the opposition Mahagathbandhan. This win validates a prediction made by Amit Shah, who forecasted an NDA victory with over 160 seats.

The Mahagathbandhan, comprising Tejashwi Yadav’s Rashtriya Janata Dal, the Congress, a Left front, and Vikassheel Insaan Party, managed to secure only 48 seats.

Sources within the BJP reveal that Amit Shah played a crucial behind-the-scenes role in ensuring the victory. He reportedly spent nearly 72 hours negotiating with disgruntled alliance leaders, particularly those denied tickets, to maintain unity within the NDA. His efforts included persuading rebels and coordinating between Chirag Paswan’s Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) and Nitish Kumar’s Janata Dal United (JDU).

Negotiations with Paswan over seat allocation were particularly tense. Paswan, initially demanding 40 seats, eventually settled for 28. The LJP’s performance, winning 21 seats, significantly contributed to the NDA’s victory margin.

Shah’s involvement also extended to managing the relationship between the JDU and LJP, which had been strained since the 2020 election. The NDA’s successful navigation of these internal challenges underscores the BJP’s strategic planning and execution in securing a decisive win in Bihar.
