Fri Nov 14 12:20:00 UTC 2025: NDA Secures Victory in Bihar Election; Tej Pratap Yadav Blames Brother Tejashwi for Mahagathbandhan’s Loss
Patna, Bihar – The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has secured a decisive victory in the Bihar Legislative Assembly elections, leaving the Mahagathbandhan, led by Tejashwi Yadav, reeling from a significant defeat. Amidst the aftermath, Tej Pratap Yadav, the elder brother of Tejashwi and leader of Jan Shakti Janata Dal, has launched a scathing attack on his brother, accusing him of internal sabotage within the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD).
In a Facebook post, Tej Pratap declared that the defeat holds a hidden victory for the people. He accepted the results as the people’s mandate, stating that the election has signaled a shift towards governance and education-focused politics, moving away from familial dynasty politics.
“This is a crushing defeat for the traitors,” Tej Pratap wrote. “I had already said that Congress would be finished in Bihar after this election, and it is clear today. These traitors have hollowed out the RJD from within and ruined it. That’s why Tejashwi has become ‘Fail-ashwi’.”
He further accused those who prioritized their own political ambitions over the party’s well-being, stating that history will not forgive them for setting their own house on fire.
Despite the criticism, Tej Pratap praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi, attributing the NDA’s victory to his “magical leadership.” He also acknowledged Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s governance and the strategic efforts of Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP’s Bihar in-charge, Dharmendra Pradhan. He emphasized the unity within the NDA coalition as a key factor in their victory.
While acknowledging the defeat, Tej Pratap reiterated his commitment to serving the people of Mahua, irrespective of his position. He vowed to continue working towards fulfilling his promises to the community and expressed gratitude for the support he received.
The Bihar election results have triggered a wave of introspection within the opposition ranks, with Tej Pratap’s public outburst adding fuel to the internal turmoil within the RJD. The focus now shifts to the NDA’s next steps in forming the government and fulfilling its promises to the people of Bihar.
