Patchwork Repairs Improve Traffic at Key Mylapore Junction, But Another Section Remains in Disrepair
Chennai, India – November 9, 2025 – The Hindu reports that patchwork repairs have been completed at the intersection of Luz Church Road and Luz Avenue First Street in Mylapore, Chennai. This follows a November 2nd report in The Hindu Downtown highlighting the deteriorated road conditions in the area due to heavy traffic.
While the recent repairs have noticeably improved driving conditions at the Luz Avenue First Street junction, another section of Luz Church Road, near MCTM school, remains neglected. Despite being a high-traffic area, this section has yet to receive any attention. The Hindu urges city officials to address this issue promptly, ensuring safer and smoother commutes for all residents.
