Sat Nov 08 23:00:00 UTC 2025: ## Razorbacks Face Spartans in Top-25 Showdown, Hall of Fame Coaches Clash

EAST LANSING, Mich. – A highly anticipated top-25 matchup is set to ignite the hardwood as the #14/15 Arkansas Razorbacks (1-0) travel to East Lansing to face the #22/21 Michigan State Spartans (1-0) on Saturday, November 8th. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:00 pm ET/6:00 pm CT at the Jack Breslin Student Events Center.

The game features a clash of coaching titans, with Arkansas led by 2015 Naismith Hall of Fame inductee John Calipari, and Michigan State helmed by 2016 Hall of Famer Tom Izzo. While Arkansas and Michigan State have only met twice before, both resulting in Spartan victories on neutral courts, the rivalry between Calipari and Izzo runs deeper. Calipari holds a narrow 3-2 advantage in their past encounters, including a Sweet Sixteen victory while coaching Memphis.

Adding another layer of intrigue to the game is Razorback freshman guard Darius Acuff Jr., who returns to his home state and the very court where he led Detroit’s Cass Tech to the Michigan Division I state championship in 2023. Acuff scored 19 points in that championship victory at the Breslin Center.

Fans can catch the action on FOX, with Brandon Gaudin and Bill Raftery on the call. Radio coverage will be provided by the Learfield Razorback Sports Network with Chuck Barrett and Matt Zimmerman. The game will also be available on Sirius XM and the Razorback Gameday App.
