Sat Nov 08 20:10:00 UTC 2025: ## Predators Face Stars in Final Nashville Game Before Sweden

NASHVILLE, TN – The Nashville Predators will host the Dallas Stars this afternoon at Bridgestone Arena in a 2:30 p.m. CT puck drop for their last home game before heading to Stockholm for the 2025 NHL Global Series. This matchup marks the second of three encounters between the division rivals this season, with the Stars previously edging out the Preds 3-2 in Nashville last month.

Today’s game also features a special “Swedish sendoff” with a Filip Forsberg bobblehead giveaway for the first 10,000 fans. However, the team remains focused on snapping a losing streak after a 3-1 defeat against the Philadelphia Flyers on Thursday.

“I think it’s all about a mindset,” said Head Coach Andrew Brunette, emphasizing the importance of channeling frustration positively. “We’re going to need that positivity and that channeling of those emotions in the right context.”

The Predators will be without forward Cole Smith, who was placed on Injured Reserve with an upper-body injury. Defenseman Adam Wilsby remains day-to-day. Ryan O’Reilly scored Nashville’s lone goal in their previous game.

The Stars are also looking to rebound after dropping three of their last four, including a recent 7-5 loss to the Anaheim Ducks.

Fans can catch the action starting at 2 p.m. CT with the Predators LIVE! pregame show on FanDuel Sports Network South. Radio coverage will be available on 102.5 The Game and the Predators Radio Network, as well as in Spanish on El Jefe (96.7 FM, 105.3 FM and 810 AM).
