‘Landman’ Returns to Paramount+ This November, Promises High-Stakes Drama

WEST TEXAS – Get ready for more grit and oil-soaked drama as “Landman” is set to premiere its highly anticipated second season on Paramount+ on November 16, 2025. New episodes will be released weekly, every Sunday, culminating in a season finale on January 18, 2026.

The series, created by Taylor Sheridan and inspired by the “Boomtown” podcast, follows Tommy Norris, played by Billy Bob Thornton, as he navigates the cutthroat world of West Texas oil. Season two plunges Tommy into even deeper waters, forcing him to navigate his new position as CEO of M-Tex Oil after the shocking death of Monty Miller (Jon Hamm).

The death of Miller leaves a power vacuum that Tommy has been all but forced to fill after agreeing to take over M-Tex as per Monty’s last wishes.

“Facing mounting pressure from M-Tex Oil, Cami Miller, and the shadow of his kin, survival in West Texas isn’t noble – it’s brutal. And sooner or later something’s got to break,” reads the official logline for the new season, hinting at the intense challenges to come.

Thornton says that, though his character probably does not want to lead as CEO, he’ll do so out of a “debt to his old friend and boss.”

In addition to Thornton, Demi Moore returns as Cami Miller, as does Andy Garcia as cartel boss Galino, who Tommy is now in an uneasy alliance with. Returning cast members also include Michelle Randolph, Ali Larter, Kayla Wallace, Paulina Chávez, James Jordan, Mark Collie, and Colm Feore. Sam Elliott has also been upped to a series regular, with new additions to the cast including Guy Burnet, Miriam Silverman, and Stefania Spampinato.

“Landman” premiered in November 2024 and quickly became one of Paramount+’s top original series. Season one is currently available to stream on Paramount+. Don’t miss the season two premiere on November 16th.
