Hyderabad Rowdy-Sheeter Murdered in Broad Daylight; Rival Gang Suspected

Hyderabad, November 6, 2025 – A violent clash between rival gangs has left one man dead in Jagadgirigutta, Hyderabad. Roshan, a 24-year-old known rowdy-sheeter, was brutally attacked and killed at a local bus stop on Wednesday evening.

The victim, who had records at both Balanagar and Jagadgirigutta police stations, was targeted by Baleshwar Reddy, also 24 and a known rowdy-sheeter from the same area. Reddy, accompanied by associates Mohammad and Adi, ambushed Roshan with a sharp weapon before fleeing the scene.

Initially treated for grievous injuries, Roshan succumbed to his wounds while receiving medical care at Gandhi Hospital. Police have upgraded the case from attempted murder to murder.

According to Balanagar ACP P. Naresh Reddy, the motive for the killing appears to be a turf war. “The two men had been at odds for some time over control of prostitution networks operating in the locality,” ACP Reddy stated. “A dispute over local dominance had been brewing, culminating in this violent act.”

Investigators believe the attack was premeditated. Reddy and his accomplices arrived at the bus stop on a motorcycle and launched their assault in full view of terrified onlookers, who did not intervene.

Police are continuing their investigation into the incident. Further details are expected to be released as the investigation progresses.
