New Rain Shepherd Skins Coming to League of Legends
Los Angeles, CA – November 21, 2024 – Riot Games is expanding its Rain Shepherd skin line in League of Legends with the addition of Tristana and Gwen. The new skins, set to be released on November 23rd with patch 25.23, reimagine the champions as caretakers of a parched world, working to restore its lost moisture and song.
The Rain Shepherd universe, first introduced in 2024 with skins for Fizz and Milio, tells the story of a world suffering from drought. In this setting, frogs have taught a new group, the Rain Shepherds, to sing, using their voices to replenish the land. Both Tristana and Gwen are clad in special rain gear as they work to bring nature back to its lush former glory.
Terence Cantal (Riot Terry), the artist behind the Rain Shepherd Tristana skin, shared insights into the creative process on X, revealing the team even named some of the frogs featured in the splash art after its members. Riot Fortune, the artist behind Rain Shepherd Gwen, is known for skins like Flora Fatalis Fiddlesticks, Spirit Blossom Springs Teemo, and Faerie Court Lux.
Both Rain Shepherd Tristana and Rain Shepherd Gwen will be Epic skins, priced at 1,350 RP. Patch 25.23 will be one of the final updates of the year.
