Mon Nov 03 04:33:04 UTC 2025: ## Delhi Murder: Love Triangle Turns Deadly for UPSC Aspirant

Gandhi Vihar, Delhi – November 3, 2025 – A 32-year-old UPSC aspirant, Ramkesh Meena, was allegedly murdered in his Gandhi Vihar flat on October 6th, in what police are calling a planned execution orchestrated by his partner, Amrita Chauhan, and her former boyfriend, Sumit Kashyap.

According to Delhi Police, Meena was killed after he refused to delete intimate videos of Chauhan from his hard drive. Fearful that the videos would be used against her, Chauhan allegedly enlisted the help of Kashyap, and his associate, Sandeep Kumar. The trio is now in custody, charged with murder, criminal conspiracy, and arson.

Neighbors reported a fire and explosion in Meena’s fourth-floor apartment in the early hours of October 6th. Initially suspected as a suicide or accident, the investigation shifted after CCTV footage revealed two individuals, later identified as Chauhan and Kashyap, leaving the building shortly before the fire.

“That was the moment we realised that neither was this another fire incident nor a suicide,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police (North) Raja Banthia.

Police investigations revealed that Chauhan and Kashyap had planned the murder to look like an accident, even strategically placing an open gas cylinder near Meena’s head to simulate death by carbon monoxide poisoning. Both Chauhan and Kashyap have forensic science knowledge and had allegedly poured wine, ghee, and oil on Meena’s body to remove fingerprints.

Meena, described by neighbors as a diligent student preparing for the Union Public Service Commission examination, had an engineering degree.

The hard drive is undergoing forensic examination, and authorities state that it contains intimate videos of other women, reportedly taken with their consent. The incident has sent shockwaves through the densely populated neighborhood, known for housing government job aspirants.
