Bucks Aim for First Winning Streak Against Kings; Giannis Expected to Play Despite Knee Concerns

MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee Bucks (4-1) will look to string together their first three-game winning streak of the 2025-26 season as they host the struggling Sacramento Kings (1-4) today at Fiserv Forum. Tip-off is scheduled for 4 p.m.

Despite entering the day listed as questionable with tendinopathy in his left knee cap, Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo is expected to play. He sustained the injury following a collision in the team’s victory over the New York Knicks on October 28th, leading to a late scratch against the Golden State Warriors on October 30th. Head Coach Doc Rivers downplayed any concerns about an increased workload affecting Antetokounmpo’s health, emphasizing the team’s careful management of the superstar’s physical demands. The Bucks posted an 8-7 record without Antetokounmpo last season.

Milwaukee faces an additional challenge with the loss of starting point guard Kevin Porter Jr., who will undergo surgery for a torn meniscus in his right knee. Porter, who was just returning to court work after recovering from a sprained ankle, is expected to be sidelined for approximately four weeks. “That was a tough one,” Rivers said of Porter’s injury. “He’s huge for us… It’s a blow for sure.” Rivers added that Porter was slated to have a breakout season.

FanDuel Sports Network Wisconsin will broadcast the game locally. BetMGM lists the Bucks as 5.5-point favorites, with an over/under of 233.5 points.
