India, November 2, 2025 – SS Rajamouli’s epic saga, “Baahubali,” has once again captured the hearts of audiences, this time as a re-edited, combined film titled “Baahubali: The Epic.” Released on October 31, 2025, the film, a compilation of “Baahubali: The Beginning” and “Baahubali: The Conclusion,” is enjoying a phenomenal run at the box office, nearing ₹17 crore in India alone within its first two days.
Industry tracker Sacnilk reports that “Baahubali: The Epic” garnered an estimated ₹6.62 crore net on its second day, bringing the total domestic earnings to ₹17.17 crore. This impressive performance has surpassed the opening day collections of other re-released films like Vijay’s “Ghilli” and Mahesh Babu’s “Khaleja,” as well as recent hits such as “Lokah Chapter 1 Chandra” and “Dragon.”
The film’s success is particularly strong among Telugu audiences, with morning show occupancy rates soaring to 37.34% on Saturday. The Tamil version also saw a healthy 29.48% occupancy. Hindi audiences showed slightly less enthusiasm, with a morning show occupancy rate of 7.95%.
“Baahubali: The Epic,” produced by Arka Media Works, offers a refined, 3-hour and 45-minute experience, revisiting the legendary tale of Mahishmati and the rise of Amarendra Baahubali. The film stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, and Tamannaah Bhatia in their iconic roles.
The film’s global appeal is evident, with a wide release in over 1,150 cinemas worldwide, including over 400 screens in the US, 210 in the UK and Ireland, and further distribution across the UAE, Australia, and Southeast Asia. The film’s worldwide collection stood at ₹19 crore on day 1, with ₹6.50 crore coming from overseas collections.
