Wed Oct 29 05:50:00 UTC 2025: Mumford & Sons Drop New Track “Rubber Band Man” Featuring Hozier
LONDON – Mumford & Sons have released a brand new single, “Rubber Band Man,” featuring the distinct vocals of Irish singer-songwriter Hozier. The track, available on all streaming platforms now, comes just seven months after the band’s successful fifth album, “RUSHMERE,” which topped the UK charts.
“Rubber Band Man” was recorded at Long Pond Studios in upstate New York with producer Aaron Dessner, who previously worked with the band on their acclaimed album “Wilder Mind.” The collaboration with Hozier stems from a long-standing friendship, marked by previous on-stage performances together, including a cover of The Beatles’ “A Little Help From My Friends” at the Longitude Festival in 2017 and a guest appearance at the Austin City Limits Festival in 2023.
The new single is described as a confident step forward for Mumford & Sons, showcasing their continued creative output following the release of “RUSHMERE.” The band hints at further studio collaborations to come, with Hozier’s contribution marking the first of many.
“His distinguishable, rich baritone compliments Marcus’ vocal beautifully,” the band said in a statement.
In addition to the new single, Mumford & Sons have been actively touring, including a string of sold-out arena dates across the US and a return to their railroad tour. The band will be returning to the UK and Europe for a 22-date tour throughout November and December, with the run concluding at London’s O2 Arena on the 10th & 11th of December.
