Ottawa – October 29, 2025 – A 68-year-old Indian-origin businessman, Darshan Sahsi, was shot and killed outside his residence in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada, on Monday, October 27th. Local police are treating the incident as a targeted attack.
According to Abbotsford Police, officers responded to reports of a shooting on Ridgeview Drive, where they discovered Sahsi inside a vehicle with life-threatening injuries. Despite immediate medical intervention, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has identified Sahsi as the victim. “Early indications suggest this was a targeted incident and no one else was injured as a result of the shooting,” stated Sgt.
