Khalistani Group Threatens Diljit Dosanjh’s Australia Concert Over Amitabh Bachchan Interaction
Sydney, Australia – Sikhs For Justice (SFJ), a US-based organization led by designated terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, has called for the cancellation of singer Diljit Dosanjh’s scheduled performance in Australia on November 1st. The group, which is banned in India under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, alleges that Dosanjh disrespected victims of the 1984 Sikh Genocide by touching the feet of Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan.
SFJ claims that Bachchan incited violence against Sikhs on October 31, 1984, with the slogan “Blood for Blood” following the assassination of then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. The group holds Bachchan responsible for inciting mobs who allegedly killed over 30,000 Sikhs across India.
In a statement, Pannun stated that by paying respect to Bachchan, Dosanjh insulted the victims, widows, and orphans of the 1984 genocide. The timing of the call coincides with Akal Takht Sahib’s designation of November 1st as Sikh Genocide Remembrance Day.
SFJ is a banned organization in India due to its anti-national activities, deemed prejudicial to the country’s internal security and integrity. The Indian government accuses SFJ of maintaining ties with militant groups, encouraging secessionist activities, and attempting to destabilize the government. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is currently investigating numerous cases against Pannun, who faces over 100 charges across India.
