NARSAPURAM, ANDHRA PRADESH – October 29, 2025 – Coastal communities in Narsapuram, Andhra Pradesh, breathed a collective sigh of relief this morning as Cyclone Montha made landfall in the early hours of Wednesday. While the storm brought heavy rains and strong winds, initial reports indicate that the damage was less severe than anticipated.
West Godavari District Collector Chadalavada Nagarani confirmed that no human lives were lost along the Narsapuram coast. However, approximately 268 trees, primarily coconut trees, were uprooted, and eight houses sustained damage.
