Taipei, Taiwan – Taiwanese entertainer Fan Chiang Yen-feng has publicly accused his wife, former cheerleader River Chiang Wei-lin (粿粿), and singer Prince Chiu Sheng-yi (王子) of having an affair, leading to the breakdown of their three-year marriage.

Fan Chiang made the explosive allegations in a lengthy social media post, directly tagging River and Prince, claiming their relationship became suspicious after River returned from a trip to the United States with Prince and others. He accused them of concealing their alleged affair under the guise of friendship, stating, “You must think that disguising yourselves as friends, the bolder you are, the safer you are, and you will never be discovered?”

He further revealed that River had become distant and requested space, leading to attempts at a separation agreement. Fan Chiang claims to have discovered “clear evidence” of the affair between River and Prince, devastating him after River denied the allegations on oath.

River responded, stating she had been in discussions with Fan Chiang for a long time and that she would take responsibility for her actions, but that Fan Chiang’s demands went beyond what she could reasonably provide for, hence the end of negotiations. She added, “I will take the responsibility that I need to take and will not hide or mislead anyone.” She has also announced that she will be putting out a response based on facts.

Fan Chiang, citing failed mediation and a desire to protect himself from media influence, has now decided to pursue legal action.
