Local authorities are actively gathering information on pregnant women through Auxiliary Nurse Midwives (ANMs) and transferring those at risk to community health centers, area hospitals, and district hospitals. Special attention is being given to high-risk pregnancies. Medical camps staffed with doctors, ANMs, and Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHAs) have been established at 551 rehabilitation centers throughout the affected regions.
