Tue Oct 28 07:00:00 UTC 2025: Glassnow Falters, Dodgers Fall Behind in World Series Game 3
Los Angeles, CA – Tyler Glassnow, the Los Angeles Dodgers’ starting pitcher, struggled to find his form in Game 3 of the World Series against the Toronto Blue Jays, leading to an early exit and a deficit for his team.
Glassnow took the mound at Dodger Stadium on October 28th (KST) hoping to lead the Dodgers to victory, but he lasted only 4 2/3 innings. He allowed 5 hits, including a three-run home run to Alejandro Kirk, walked 3, and struck out 5, ultimately surrendering 4 runs, only 2 of which were earned.
Despite solo home runs from Teoscar Hernandez and Shohei Ohtani giving the Dodgers a 2-0 lead through three innings, Glassnow ran into trouble in the top of the fourth. A leadoff walk to Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and a fielding error at second base led to Kirk’s go-ahead homer, putting the Blue Jays ahead. He allowed two more baserunners and surrendered a sac fly before ending the inning.
After issuing a walk to leadoff hitter Nathan Lukes in the top of the fifth, Glassnow was pulled from the game after striking out Bo Bichette, with Anthony Banda taking over.
