NEW DELHI, October 27, 2025 – A 20-year-old college student suffered severe burn injuries after being attacked with acid near Laxmibai College in northwest Delhi on Sunday. Police have identified the attacker as Jitender, who allegedly stalked the victim for months, and his accomplices as Ishan and Arman.

According to the DCP (North West), Bhisham Singh, the survivor was on her way to an extra class when she was ambushed by the three men. Ishan reportedly handed a bottle of acid to Arman, who then threw it at the woman. The victim raised her hands to protect her face, sustaining burn injuries on both hands.

“All three accused fled the scene,” stated DCP Singh. “The woman was immediately taken to Deep Chand Bandhu Hospital for treatment.”

Police investigations revealed that Jitender had been stalking the survivor for several months. The harassment allegedly escalated after an argument last month. A case has been registered, and law enforcement is currently working to locate and apprehend the suspects.
