Bengaluru, October 27, 2025: A 30-year-old drug peddler, Roshan Ahmed of BTM Layout, was arrested by the Central Crime Branch (CCB) in Bengaluru today. The Organized Crime wing acted on a tip-off and apprehended Ahmed near the Indian Oil Petrol Bunk in Suddaguntepalya as he allegedly prepared to commit a crime.

During the arrest, authorities recovered a country-made pistol and four rounds of ammunition. Interrogation revealed that Ahmed procured the illegal firearm from an individual in Madhya Pradesh and used it to intimidate rivals in the drug trade. He confessed that the weapon enabled him to conduct his illegal business without interference.

The CCB is continuing its investigation into Ahmed’s drug trafficking activities and the source of the illegal firearm.
