Atlanta, GA – Georgia Tech quarterback Haynes King is the talk of college football, leading the Yellow Jackets to a surprising 7-0 start, their best since 1966. His leadership and performance have landed him as the featured guest on this week’s Official Heisman Trophy Podcast, a platform dedicated to showcasing potential candidates for the sport’s most prestigious individual award.

King, a former Under Armour All-American who faced adversity through injuries and transfers, has found a home at Georgia Tech. After transferring from Texas A&M, where he felt he was “labeled as broken,” King has blossomed under the tutelage of quarterbacks coach Chris Weinke, the 2000 Heisman Trophy winner.

While King is focused on leading Georgia Tech to continued success, he already has plans for his future: “When the time comes, I’ll probably end up coaching too. It’s what I love.”
