Garcelle Beauvais Cites Reunion and Family as Reasons for “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” Exit
Los Angeles, CA – Actress and producer Garcelle Beauvais has shed more light on her departure from Bravo’s “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” after five seasons. In a recent interview on SiriusXM’s Smith Sisters Live, Beauvais revealed that the Season 13 reunion was a major turning point, highlighting a lack of support from her fellow cast members.
“The reunion was clear. The reunion was very clear to me. I didn’t have an ally anywhere,” she stated, indicating a feeling of isolation during the often-contentious end-of-season special.
Beauvais also emphasized the impact of the show on her family, particularly the online harassment her son, Jax, faced. “Jax‘s getting trolled and really just, viciously. That was hard,” she explained, adding that his desire to no longer participate in the show played a significant role in her decision.
While acknowledging that disagreements are part of the show’s nature, Beauvais ultimately concluded that “it just wasn’t fun for me anymore.”
Beauvais’ departure follows the announcement of the cast for Season 15, featuring both returning Housewives and new additions. The full cast list has already been announced by Bravo. This statement makes no mention about other celebrities Khloe Kardashian, Grimes, Joe Jonas or Bella Hadid.
