Los Angeles, CA – Get ready for a night of Broadway magic as “Dancing With the Stars” transforms into the “Ozdust Ballroom” for its highly anticipated “Wicked” Night, airing Tuesday, October 21st. Expect shades of green and pink, dazzling costumes, and routines inspired by the iconic musical.

Among the performances, fan favorites Dylan Efron and Daniella Karagach will showcase their talents with a Rumba set to “I’m Not That Girl.” The pair are coming off a season-high score of 36 out of 40 last week for their emotionally charged contemporary dance dedicated to Efron’s 5-year-old sister, Olivia. The performance, set to “Rewrite the Stars,” even featured a heartwarming appearance from Olivia herself.

Judges praised Efron’s growth as a dancer, with Bruno Tonioli calling him “the next greatest showman.” Carrie Ann Inaba stated that she felt the story “to the bottom of my soul”, and Derek Hough jokingly called Efron, “a great guy.”

“Wicked” director Jon M. Chu will join the judging panel as a special guest for the evening. Expect to see a diverse range of ballroom styles, including Argentine Tango, Contemporary, Foxtrot, Jazz, Rumba, and Quickstep, all infused with the spirit of the beloved musical.

The professional dancers teased the episode with a TikTok video, revealing a grueling 7 a.m. call time to perfect the intricate choreography for the “Wicked” opening number, which troupe member Carter Williams called “the hardest opening number we have learned all season.”

Fans can vote for Dylan and Daniella, and all their favorite couples, live during the broadcast on ABC and Disney+ at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT. Voting can be done online at dwtsvote.abc.com (U.S. and Canada) or by texting to the designated number (U.S. only). You must be 18 or older to vote online, and each person can cast up to 10 votes per couple through each method, for a total of 20 votes.
