**Dalit Sangarsha Samiti Files Complaint Against Seer for Alleged Inflammatory Remarks**

**Belagavi, October 15, 2025** – The Dalit Sangarsha Samiti (DSS) Vijayapura unit has filed a formal complaint against Sri Adrushya Kadasiddeshwar Swami of Kaneri Mutt in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, accusing him of inciting communal disharmony and insulting Lingayat religious leaders.

The complaint, submitted to Additional Superintendent of Police Ramanagouda Hatti in Belagavi today, alleges that the seer used abusive language and made threats against Lingayat seers seeking recognition for the Lingayat religion during a public rally in Bilur, Jath taluk, Maharashtra. The DSS claims the seer’s statements were intended to create enmity between communities, including a threat to strike the Lingayat leaders with slippers.

Channu Kattimani, district president of the DSS, emphasized the need for swift and appropriate legal action against the seer. He said such statements could ignite already tense situations and must be dealt with seriously.

The complaint highlights concerns about the impact of inflammatory speech on community relations and calls for accountability to prevent further escalation of tensions.
