Tue Oct 14 22:40:00 UTC 2025: **Alan Jackson Announces Farewell Concert Amid CMT Battle**
**Nashville, TN** – Country music icon Alan Jackson has announced his final full-length concert, scheduled for June 27, 2026, at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium. The performance, titled “Last Call: One More for the Road – The Finale,” will mark the end of his touring career as he continues to battle Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease (CMT), a degenerative nerve condition.
Jackson, who revealed his CMT diagnosis in 2021, has been dealing with the condition for over a decade. He explained that the disease, which he inherited from his father, affects his balance and mobility on stage.
“It’s been a long road, and it’s taken me places I never imagined,” Jackson said in a statement. “I can’t think of a better place to put on a big show and give the fans a finale than in Nashville, and include so many special friends.”
Joining Jackson for the farewell concert will be a star-studded lineup including Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, and Keith Urban, among others. Bryan expressed his excitement, stating that Jackson’s music has shaped him through the years.
In addition to celebrating Jackson’s career, the concert will also raise awareness for CMT. A dollar from every ticket sold will be donated to the CMT Research Foundation. Jackson hopes that by sharing his story, he can help others understand the disease and support research efforts.
Jackson emphasized that while CMT is not deadly, it has impacted his ability to perform comfortably. He shared that his legacy is in the music he made.
