**Four Killed in Multi-Vehicle Pile-Up on Hosur-Krishnagiri Highway**
**Krishnagiri, India – October 12, 2025:** A tragic multiple-vehicle collision on the Hosur-Krishnagiri National Highway on Sunday has claimed the lives of four individuals. The accident occurred near Gopasandiram, resulting in significant traffic disruption for over an hour.
The deceased have been identified as T. Madhan Kumar (27), M. Mukilan (30), P. Manivannan (27), and K. Gokul (28). According to police reports, Madhan Kumar, an IT professional residing in Canada, had recently arrived in Bengaluru from abroad to celebrate Deepavali with his friends.
Mukilan, Manivannan, and Gokul picked up Madhan Kumar from the airport and were en route to Erode when the incident occurred. Police investigation indicated that a van abruptly stopped in front of their car, leading to a collision. Subsequently, a speeding lorry rear-ended the car, triggering a chain reaction involving four additional vehicles. All four occupants of the car died at the scene.
Hosur police responded to the accident and transported the bodies to Hosur Government Hospital for postmortem examination. Authorities have registered a case and are conducting a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision.
Police sources confirmed that Manivannan and Gokul were also employed in the IT sector, while Mukilan was preparing for UPSC exams.
