**Controversial Influencer Trisha Paytas Joins Broadway’s “Beetlejuice” for Limited Run**

**NEW YORK, NY** – Social media personality Trisha Paytas is set to make her Broadway debut in the hit musical *Beetlejuice*, currently playing at the Palace Theatre. Paytas will take on the role of Maxine Dean, the wife of Botco Industries Chairman Maxie Dean, from November 4th to November 23rd.

Paytas will share the role with Sharone Sayegh, who will continue to play the dual role of Maxine Dean/Juno, resuming the part of Maxine Dean on November 25th after Paytas’s engagement. While the role is a minor one, Paytas’s casting is expected to draw significant attention to the already popular show.

Known for their confessional-style vlogs, podcasts, and lifestyle content, Paytas has amassed a large online following, boasting 1.9 million Instagram followers and 10.9 million on TikTok. However, their online presence has also been marked by controversy, with critics accusing them of making racist, antisemitic, homophobic, transphobic, and ableist statements. Paytas has previously defended these statements as promotional tactics.

*Beetlejuice*, inspired by the classic Tim Burton film, began its third Broadway engagement at the Palace Theatre on October 8th. The musical features a score by Eddie Perfect and a book by Scott Brown and Anthony King. The current production stars Justin Collette as Beetlejuice, Isabella Esler as Lydia, and features a talented ensemble cast. The limited engagement runs through January 3, 2026.

Tickets for *Beetlejuice* are available at the Palace Theatre box office and through authorized ticketing outlets.
