**Padres’ Iglesias Suspended, Bogaerts Fined for Conduct Toward Umpires**

NEW YORK – San Diego Padres infielder Jose Iglesias has been suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount for his unprofessional conduct toward Major League umpires following Game 3 of the National League Wild Card Series against the Chicago Cubs on October 2nd. The suspension was announced Friday by Michael Hill, MLB’s Senior Vice President for On-Field Operations.

According to MLB, the incident occurred as the umpires were exiting the playing field at Wrigley Field.
